With the new Macbook Air, Apple promises to deliver a portable computer that is lighter than the average netbook, comparable in size but with much more muscle, at a price which starts at $1199. Among the features put forward by Apple: Flash storage, Multi-Touch trackpad, Long battery (5-7hrs, according to Apple) and a high display pixel density. Apple also says that the computer can stay in sleep mode for up to 30 days.
